Pollack Stonewalls CornellFSA Request For Student Free Speech Training

The below CornellFSA letter was sent to Cornell Pres. Martha Pollack in May 2022 urging that she take action to implement free speech training for all Cornell students and student disciplinary bodies. The American Council of Trustees & Alumni (ACTA) and the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) have likewise asked Pres. Pollack to take this action. However, Pollack has never responded to CornellFSA nor taken any of the recommended actions requested by CornellFSA. Regrettably, since the CornellFSA, ACTA, and FIRE letters were sent to Ms. Pollack, Cornell University continues to be plagued by egregious Cancel Culture and Free Speech failures (see news media coverage of the Lincoln Bust Embarrassment and Ann Coulter Debacle). Despite Pollack's lofty proclamations, ongoing events on campus indicate Ms. Pollack's "non-seriousness" about free expression at Cornell. Read the letter below. Please help move Ms. Pollack to action by writing to ask her to do what is needed at Cornell.
